Best Automatic Vacuum and Mop Combos

The Narwal Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is one of the most efficient combinations I've tested. Its base station features an enormous dustbin and water tank. Its dual rubber brushes are less prone to hair tangles than single bristles.

Its mopping performance is top-notch and its AI mapping excels in avoiding obstacles. It can also pause the cleaning process and resume from where it was when it stopped.

1. Roomba Combo j9+

The Roomba Combo j9+ is one of the most advanced 2-in-1 mop and robot vacuum cleaners currently on the market. It features a sleek, self emptying Clean Base that can hold up to two mopping cycles. It is designed to look like a desk.  best robot vacuum cleaner  is the only robot we tested with an onboard reservoir that automatically washes and refills the pads for cleaning after each mopping or vacuum cycle.

The mopping arm sits unobtrusively on the top of the unit until it spots hard floors, and then it lowers to begin scrubbing. It moves slowly and carefully over surfaces so it doesn't accidentally spill wet spills or mud on carpeted areas. It also does a fantastic job of staying clear of furniture, cords, and other obstacles.

It's more intelligent than other robot vacuums, too due to the iRobot Home app, which allows you to customize your cleaner's settings prioritize rooms based on dirtiness set schedules and cleaning times, and more. The app also provides comprehensive maps of your home, seasonal tips, custom cleaning routines, and a variety of smart-home integrations that are easy to use.

This robot vacuum and mop uses iRobot's Imprint Smart Mapping technology to recognize objects, such as counters, sofas, and tables. It can be controlled using Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri, making it easy to clean your home.

In contrast to other mopping and vacuum robots like the Roomba J9+ makes an entire map of your home seven times faster than previous models and also labels each space by floor type, ensuring that it will always remember to vacuum or mop the area you want. It also has a Turbo Mode which increases suction for difficult spots. And with iRobot's Dirt Detective, it can detect your cleaning habits and preferences, allowing it to automatically adjust your cleaning priorities and settings, such as mop scrubbing for the most soiled areas of your home.

2. Yeedi M12 Pro+

The Yeedi M12 Pro+, with  budget robot vacuum -friendly application and premium features is a formidable rival in the world of automated mop and vacuum robots. Its strong suction power and innovative mopping technologies make it the ideal cleaning partner for smart homes. Its low cost and intelligent automation also make it a perfect choice for households with a tight budget.

Download and launch the Yeedi App and follow the instructions on the screen to connect the M12 to your Wi-Fi network. After connecting the app will ask you to create a unique name for your new robot. The M12 only supports 2.4GHz networks.

The M12 comes with a variety of cleaning modes, including mopping and vacuuming. Its clever design allows it to map a room in less than six minutes and adjust its cleaning path accordingly. Its advanced mopping features include two spinning pads, with electronically controlled water as well as a "True Edge Adaptive Edge Mopping System" which helps ensure thorough cleaning of all floor edges.

In terms of navigation, the M12 utilizes LiDAR and IR to avoid obstacles. The sensors do a great job of detecting larger objects, such as furniture and HVAC vents. However, they may struggle with smaller objects, like cables and small rags, which can cause the robot to miss areas.

The M12's built-in inclinometer allows it to detect and navigate up and down stairs. It also returns automatically to its OMNI Station to wash and dry the mop brushes, and replenish its water tank. When its batteries run low, the OMNI station can also automatically empty the dust bin and clean itself.

3. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra

The Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra robot cleaner is the cutting edge of robotic cleaning. It packs a wealth of features in a tiny package. It comes with the largest mopping capacity and a camera that can be used for improved obstacle avoidance, and a powerful vacuum that has the ability to detect when it's going over carpets. It also comes with advanced intelligence and voice assistant capabilities.

It's a powerful vacuum and mop cleaner. It was able to complete our 1,500 square foot test area within 101 minutes, before the battery drained and it returned to its dock. Its mop is automatically cleaned between uses. This reduces costs for maintenance while keeping the pads clean. In addition to this it has a dock sensor that senses when the mop pad is dirty and triggers the washing cycle to keep it clean.

The S8 MaxV Ultra, like its predecessors has an intelligent system that can recognize household items like shoes and pet waste by using the combination of a camera and LIDAR. It did well in our evaluation of obstacle avoidance with just one minor glitch during my testing (it got stuck unwinding a wool ball that was wrapped around its brush arm).

The S8 MaxV Ultra has a new 10,000pa worth of suction power, more than twice its predecessor. This makes it an excellent choice for homes with carpeting in abundance and different types of flooring. The vacuum can also be programmed to automatically increase suction when it's moving dirt or crumbs.

Similar to previous models, there are docking stations that can be placed in different rooms to help automate the process of cleaning and mopping. It can even be connected to the plumbing in your home with special docks that drain and refills the tank automatically after you've finished.

The only sound is the occasional low hum from its motor, and the occasional bursts of sucking when cleaning. Its navigation system is awe-inspiring and utilizes cameras, 3D structured light and multiple lasers to identify and avoid obstacles. this helps the X40 Ultra achieve one of the highest scores in obstacles in our tests.

5. Eufy S1 Pro

The Eufy S1 Pro is an impressively powerful mop and vacuum combo that has been designed to be user-friendly. The base station, which is gunmetal-colored, is self-emptying and it fills its own tank with clean water, automatically emptying the dust bin into a smaller container, and washes and dries its own mop pad in between cleaning sessions. It also has a sophisticated feature set that allows it to switch between hard and rugs, effectively remove pet hair and dirt from carpets and raised room thresholds.

The S1 Pro has excellent navigation and mapping, thanks to the internal dToF system. It can keep a low-profile while still providing excellent detection of objects. It can drive close to walls and avoid steps without falling. It also raises the mop when driving on rugs or short-pile carpets. However, it did struggle with longer-pile carpets and several large, thick piles of dried-on debris.

The S1 Pro is ready to go out of the box, and it requires only a quick mapping run to learn about your home. After that the map will be displayed in the app and rooms can be added or merged depending on the need. You can also design virtual boundaries such as no-mop zones, no-go zones, and no-go areas if you don't want the robot to touch certain objects.

The S1 Pro does a great job of cleaning up spills from hard floors, thanks to its rotating mop head that puts 2.2lbs (1kg) of downward pressure on the floor. Its ability to vacuum and mop makes it a good option for homes that have both types of flooring however, its reliance on a Eufy brand cleaning solution (which is included in the box) could make it less flexible than other robots that allow you add your own solutions.
